Lizzie Michael is a Producer and Director based in Los Angeles, CA. While her work spans genres, she tries to bring the female perspective, a Gen Z sensibility, and/or social commentary into all she does.

Originally from Burlington, VT, Lizzie was the 2015 Vermont representative at the USA Today and Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference in Washington, D.C., and was a recipient of the prestigious IBM Thomas J. Watson scholarship.

She attended Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna cum laude with degrees in Business (Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises) and Film (Television, Radio & Film), from the Whitman School of Business and the elite Newhouse School of Communications.

While in school, she co-founded and produced Syracuse's first ever live late-night comedy talk show, LIVE FROM STUDIO B. She was also the Video Editor of The Daily Orange, a nationally #1 ranked student newspaper. While at The D.O., her work racked up tens of thousands of views on social, and was featured in national news outlets such as CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.

Lizzie interned at various prestigious entertainment institutions, such as Lionsgate Entertainment, Skydance Media, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She has worked as a PA for production companies like The Sweet Shop and Urban Rhino, and was a Videographer for PALS, a summer camp for young adults with Down syndrome.

She has worked on her own short-form content since 2017— most notably, she was the VFX Coordinator and Producer on SHATTRD; Director of Photography on DAY/BREAK; and the 1st AD on BUS MONEY, which was nominated at the 2019 IndieFEST Film Awards and won the Golden Fox Award at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival.

After graduating, Lizzie spent a year producing voice-acting performances for Netflix, animation and video games as an Associate Producer for Horseless Cowboy. She then spent three years working as the Executive Assistant for A-list film producer Suzanne Todd (Memento, Austin Powers, Alice in Wonderland, Across the Universe, Bad Moms, etc). Two projects she worked on with Suzanne are slated to come out on Disney+ in 2023 and 2024 (THE NAUGHTY NINE and DESCENDANTS: THE RISE OF RED).
